Corvette 320 Overview

Corvette Motoryacht 320

The new Corvette 320 is truly a unique family cruiser. Never has so much performance and living space been offered in a 32-foot boat. Ideal for a cruising family with children or a couple with frequent guests, its two-stateroom, two-head accommodations plan provides a level of comfort and privacy found only on much larger boats. And while its traditional, salty good looks may have you thinking "trawler," it will surprise you with its 25+ knot, seakindly performance. Cruise leisurely and economically all day long at 7-knots or hit the throttles and get to your next destination before the weather turns.

While many boats in this size range offer only single engine power, Corvette offers the level of safety and improved handling that comes with twin diesel power. With twin engines you are assured of getting home if you experience a problem with an engine, transmission or running gear. And there's nothing as reassuring as manuevering into a tight slip with twins under your command.

For those cruisers who are highly concerned about fuel costs, it has been found that running two smaller engines is as efficient as running one larger engine. Also, the cost to maintain two smaller engines is often comparable to the cost of maintaining a single larger engine.

The well-thought-out deck plan of the Corvette 320 provides the outdoor living space of a 40-footer. The helm on the flying bridge is the perfect place to run the 320 in good weather. A double helm seat plus two additional, built-in seating areas allow the crew to join the captain while underway. Aft of the flying bridge is an outdoor dining and lounge area complete with two settees and table. This arrangement is perfect for taking guests on day cruises and sunset harbor tours.

Most important, the quality of construction and choice of materials are now on the same level as the famous line of Fleming Yachts. As of mid-2009, construction of the Corvette 320 has been moved to the highly respected Tung Hwa facility in Taiwan, where the same artisans and craftsmen who build the luxurious Fleming 55, 65 and 75 are also building the Corvette 320 to world class, yacht standards. Today, the new Corvette 320 can rightly be called "The World's Biggest Little Yacht."
